Jackfruit Cheesecake Goodness
I made Jackfruit Cheesecake recently ( my 2nd time making it) and I'm proud to say this recipe is almost original; I did use a Mango Cheesecake recipe I found online, made a couple changes to it and turned it into Jackfruit Cheesecake recipe! I thought the cheesecake was delish with a little hint and bits of Nangka (Jackfruit in the Malay Language)! =) I'm not a big fan of cheesecake, but this I love! Don't be too surprise if you're unfamiliar with Jackfruit as this fruit is native to parts of South and Southeast Asia. The fruit when ripe is sweet and yellow in color, and have some what an acquired taste. I've only seen fresh Jackfruit being sold on the streets of Chinatown in New York City. You can however easily find canned Jackfruit (in syrup) which are almost as good as the fresh ones in local Asian grocery stores in the US.
